Research Assignment Part 2

When you have finished your research, copy and paste your websites as a reply to this post. Now look through your note cards and choose the best option to answer your assigned topic. (i.e. best high school in Malaysia)

Today you must create a forum post that persuades your reader that your choice is the best choice. Good persuasion encourages others to believe your point of view, but also acknowledges another point of view. That means you sell your strengths but acknowledge your weaknesses too. Your post should be 1-2 paragraphs-long enough to convince the reader. You can also include a web link and a photo in your forum post. This program will mark spelling mistakes, but not grammar mistakes. You may want to write your post in MS Word first in order to catch mistakes with your writing.

Research Assignment Part 1:

Everyone in your group must choose a different topic to research from the following list:
What is the best charity in your country to donate $500 and why?
What is the best high school to attend in your country and why?
What is the most important tourist site to visit in your country and why?
What is the most important environmental problem in your country and why?

You must first find five possible options. Use a note card to make notes about each option's strengths and weaknesses.

Keep a MS Word document with all of the websites you use to make notes (must use at least 8 different websites)- *You may use Wikipedia only once.
